Compact modelling floorboard with touchscreen for electric guitar and electric bass.
The Headrush MX5 Silver Special Edition is a powerful modelling floorboard for electric guitar and bass, featuring an intuitive control concept and first-class sounds. Thanks to the powerful multi-core DSP, the MX5 delivers extremely realistic simulations of the most popular amps, cabinets and effects, while the 4" touchscreen makes creating your own preset a breeze. In addition to an integrated Looper, the HeadRush MX5Silver Special Edition Modeler offers a convenient USB audio interface for direct recording to PC or Mac, a Stereo Effects Loop and full MIDI support.
The HeadRush MX5 Silver Special Edition can be operated quickly and intuitively via the central touchscreen.
Intuitive operation
The central component in the practical operating concept of HeadRush's MX5 is the high-resolution 4" touchscreen, on which all parameters are clearly displayed. In conjunction with the push encoder, the screen allows quick and intuitive adjustment of the personal sound using the gestures familiar to smartphones or tablets. The LED strips above the footswitch, which allow safe operation in live situations thanks to freely selectable colours, prove to be a practical detail. Last but not least, the floorboard can be operated completely via the footswitches in "Hands-Free" mode without having to take your hands off the instrument.
Powerful DSP for realistic sounds
At the heart of the HeadRush MX5Silver is a powerful multi-core processor which, in conjunction with the detailed modeling algorithms, guarantees a particularly realistic sound experience. In addition to authentic simulations of classic and modern amplifier models, the modeler features speaker simulations based on Impulse Responses (IRs), which guarantee a particularly natural playing feel. naturally, the most popular modulation, reverb and delay effects are part of the MX5's extensive sound repertoire. Thanks to the possibility of using up to 15 different simulations simultaneously, elaborate presets with multi-amp setups or extensive effects landscapes can be realized without any problems.
On the back, the silver MX5 Special Edition presents all ports.
Integrated Looper
The HeadRush MX5's integrated looper also turns out to be a practical highlight. With up to 300 seconds of recording time and the ability to save or load Loops, the loop recorder helps you work out stage performances or capture song ideas. naturally, the Loops can be exported via the USB port.
USB Audio Interface, Stereo Loop and MIDI
The HeadRush MX5Silver Special Edition is also equipped with a convenient USB audio interface that allows for quick and easy recording when used in conjunction with a DAW. There is also the option to route previously recorded tracks to the MX5 for re-amping. The MX5 's stereo effects path also allows you to integrate your own effects devices into the signal path, while full MIDI support makes integrating the MX5 into complex setups a breeze.
