Dead simple and straight forward, Plug in and play. The casing is robust. I'm using it as a drum monitor for gigs. Instant reaction to the sound quality is good. Can't really comment on performance as I haven't used it for long enough yet. The price is pretty good but it's basic, no volume or EQ. I run it through the sound desk so not a problem. If you want just a straight speaker this is good for the price.
