Very handy and light shaker. Yeah, maybe it looks not so pro and serious because of the red plastic. BUT its sound blew my mind. The sound is so smooth, so gentle. That can be used in light music styles as main percussion or in heavy music as some effects. I definitely will use it in jazz songs.
I have no claim to workmanship. The price is moderate too.
Liked it right from the start. Super comfortable body shape to hold with 3 or 4 fingers, really nice and mellow sound, but it's not too loud, so I guess it's better suited for studio and indoor use. That shaker can offer a variety of sounds if played creatively, much more than egg-shaped shakers. Body plastic is on a cheaper side, but is decent.
