Electus Versio Silver by Noise Engineering is an effects module that combines reverb and delay in an almost dystopian way. The Reverb has a rather gloomy character and impresses with a long reverb tail; the Delay is basically oriented to BPM inputs arriving via clock signal or tap tempo button. The delay times are adjustable with divider respectively multiplier and the Feedback can build up massively as an alternative to the usual decaying behavior. In the midst of it all is a distortion unit which, while not the heaviest of its kind, is capable of doing amazing things in tandem with the two effects and adds to the raucous character. The dystopian results of this effects module are made even more vivid by the use of the eight control voltage inputs. Via the Noise Engineering homepage you get access to the "World or Versio" page where you can find alternative firmwares and write your own firmware for a module of the Versio series.
