Here, the analogue circuitry of the BassRIG Super Vintage takes the "amp in a box" concept to the next level, offering top-notch sounds and an authentic feel with detailed recreations of the tone-defining assemblies of a bass amp. In addition, the preamp pedal comes with extensive options for setting the personal Bass sound.
Analog "Amp in a Box" circuit with authentic Vintage sound
The analogue circuitry of the BassRIG Super Vintage is based on the popular "Amp in a Box" concept, which, in addition to Class A preamps and the reproduction of a push/pull power amp, includes detailed replicas of all sound-determining components of a bass amplifier, thus promising an unadulterated sound and a natural playing feel. Depending on the position of the Drive control, the BassRIG Super Vintage delivers an extremely assertive Clean-Sound or a juicy, dynamically responding bass overdrive with the perfect amount of dirt and grind. And to maintain the punch and definition of the sound even with heavy distortion, the Blend control mixes the clean input signal continuously if desired.
Precise tone control
In addition, the Origin Effects BassRIG Super Vintage comes with extensive options for adjusting the perfect Bass sound. The 3-band equalizer, whose center band has three selectable center frequencies, allows you to precisely adjust the tone in the character-shaping frequency ranges. furthermore, the preamp pedal offers an ultra-hi mode to emphasize the brilliance and a lo-cut mode, which provides a pleasant tightness in the sound, especially in overdrive settings.
Amp Out EQ and DI Out
In order to optimally adapt the BassRIG Super Vintage to your own bass amplifier, Origin Effect equips it with a practical Amp Out EQ, which has a horn cut switch in addition to low and high filters. The balanced XLR DI-Out also routes the signal to mixing consoles or audio interfaces, while the Cab-Sim switch determines whether the speaker simulation is only applied when Preamp is switched on or all the time.
