Presonus goes into the next round with Studio One Artist and offers with the fourth version further extensive, flexible and intuitive features, which improve the workflow even more. The popular one-window philosophy with its drag and drop functionality is once again convincing, while features such as pattern/step sequencer, 5 additional virtual instruments, real-time stretching, two synthesizers etc. provide more inspiration for composing, producing, mixing or jamming.

StudioOne 4 Artist also comes with an unlimited number of audio tracks, MIDI tracks, busses and effect channels, a native 32-bit audio engine up to 384 kHz and 30 effect plug-ins, making it a comparatively professional standard at all times - even though it's "only" the slimmer version. Other features include Impact XT and SampleOneXT for beat or loop-based production and live sampling, support for multi-touch monitors, and a macro toolbar for frequently used control commands and programmable command combinations. In summary, these and many other features bring each project to a higher level, resulting in a unique balance between efficiency, flexibility, professionalism and fun at work.
