The MX-180 club mixer has been the flagship model among RODEC's mixing consoles for over three decades. Now its phono/line preamplifier is available as a Series 100 module so that it can be used in the MX Modular as well as in one of the two slots of the RODEC Bunk 01 . However, RODEC has made another decisive improvement: A second, discrete phono stage has been added, offering a deeper and more relaxed sound . This complements the original RODEC phono stage, which is better known for a livelier party sound. You can switch between the two sound characteristics at the touch of a button. In addition, there is a new gain option of +20 dB, which makes it possible to optimally adjust the level of even less powerful records. This setting can be made conveniently via a dip switch on the circuit board.
