Starclassic Bubinga Exotic - extraordinary sound with a high end design

The popular Starclassic Bubinga line by Tama is now available with a truly exceptional selection of exotic finishes. The shells have a gorgeous exotic wood veneer which is a great expansion to the nice lacquer finishes. Tama offers two different exotic versions, a Jungle Quilted Bubinga Burst and the Garnet Quilted Bubinga Burst.

Perfect wood

The 9-ply shells of the Starclassic Bubinga series are slightly thicker than the maple shells which results in a more aggressive attack combined with full, low and dark frequencies. The density of the wood provokes strong resonance and great response to make full use of the sound potential of these shells.

Star Quick Lock mount

The Star Quick Lock mounts from the the high end series "Star" are also used for the Starclassic line. They guarantee great resonance of the toms to maximize the tonal range. Furthermore, they simplify setup and tear down of the kit and provide security in every situation.

Hardware for pros

Noble wood needs noble shell hardware. Tama has only used to best components for the Starclassic shells. The excellent Die-Cast hoops and the rubber padded Tight-Washers provide a very stable tuning and great durability. The Evans heads that come standard on these drums complete the unique Starclassic concept.
