The Apollo x4 G2 Thunderbolt Audio Interface combines advanced audio technology with versatile features to provide a comprehensive solution for professional musicians, producers and sound engineers. Equipped with four Unison microphone preamps, it enables real-time recording of analog sounds, while authentic emulations of legendary analog devices such as Neve, Manley and API ensure precise sound reproduction. QUAD Core DSP processing allows the use of UAD plug-ins in real time and supports even complex audio projects.
Thanks to improved 24-bit/192-kHz audio conversion, the Apollo x4 G2 delivers broadcast-grade audio quality for recording and playback. One of the central innovations of the G2 is the Apollo Monitor Correction, which was developed in cooperation with Sonarworks. This feature enables accurate calibration of monitors and headphones to ensure pristine sound reproduction. Furthermore, advanced bass management ensures that subwoofers can be seamlessly integrated into the monitoring setup to precisely control the low end.
Another new feature is the auto-gain function, which enables quick and easy adjustment of input levels. The UAD Console app has also been enhanced and now offers the ability to save plug-in scenes and efficiently manage complex signal routings. The flexible combination of DSP processing and the native processing power of the host computer ensures that even large sessions can be handled with ease.
The Apollo x4 G2 also offers a wide range of connections that enable flexible integration into any studio setup. With four combo sockets (XLR / 6.35 mm jack) with Unison microphone preamps and two Hi-Z instrument inputs on the front, it is perfect for recording guitars, basses and microphones. In addition, two monitor outputs (6.35 mm jack), four line outputs (6.35 mm jack) and two TRS headphone outputs (6.35 mm jack) are available for flexible connection of studio monitors, headphones and other devices. The optical Toslink I/O supports ADAT or S/PDIF, allowing additional digital inputs and outputs to be used.
The interface is compatible with popular DAWs such as
