With the models of the VTX series Vox presents the further development of the popular Valvetronix modeling combos. The Vox VT20X Limited Edition British Racing Green is the smallest combo amp with eleven amp simulations, eight effect simulations, four reverb simulations and 20 watts, making it the ideal amplifier for practicing in your own four walls. The use of a real tube between preamp and output stage also ensures particularly accurate reproduction with previously unattained dynamics and warmth. The cover in British Racing Green, which was inspired by classic British sports cars and gives the combo amp a noble look, is also a visual highlight.
The Vox VT20X's completely redesigned modeling engine offers a total of eleven simulated amplifiers whose circuits are modeled down to the smallest detail for an accurate and realistic sound image. The combo provides a wide range of sounds for every imaginable genre, from jazz, funk and blues to classical rock and modern metal. In addition, eight effect emulations and four reverb emulations are available to add the appropriate spice to the sound. Thanks to the sophisticated control panel, nothing stands in the way of intuitive operation of the Vox VT20X, so that the matching guitar sound is found in no time at all and stored on one of the eight user presets. In addition, 33 tastefully coordinated and editable factory presets are available.
With 20 watts of power and an 8" speaker in a closed cabinet, the Vox VT20X delivers a surprisingly mature sound that is ideal for practicing at room volume, but can also become loud enough for small-scale jam sessions. The tube, which is placed in a central position between preamp and power amp, promises natural dynamics and warmth, which clearly enrich the guitar sound. The"BIAS Shift" and"Class" buttons can be used to influence the sound character of the tube stage.
