WALRUS AUDIO Mako ACS1 Amp + Cab Simulator
Stereo modeling effect unit with amplifier and speaker simulation
With the Walrus Audio Mako ACS1 Amp + Cab Simulator the effect specialists from Oklahoma City present a practical stereo modeling effect pedal for electric guitar, which turns out to be a secret weapon for the perfect sound at gigs, recording sessions and practicing at home with top-class amp and speaker simulations.
Powerful Heart, Premium Sound
At the heart of the Walrus Audio is a powerful combination of a SHARC DSP with ARM co-processor and top-notch converters that promise studio-quality sound. The enormous power of this convenient pedal is not only used for the detailed simulation of three legendary vintage amps, but also to give the speaker simulation its usual naturalness by means of impulse responses.
Amplifier and speaker simulation
In addition to the "Fullerton" modeling of a compact clean amp from California, Walrus Audio's Mako ACS1 provides two simulations of British amps, "London" and "Dartford", which represent the typical overdrive with mid-bite of blues-rock and the singing chime of the beat era. For each amp simulation, the ACS1 also provides two matching cabinet simulations, with the possibility of combining them freely. Thanks to the powerful processing power of the Walrus Audio Mako ACS1, each stereo channel can also be assigned its own amp and cab simulations without fear of latency or loss of sound.
A precise way to customize the sound
In addition to the usual gain and volume controls, the Walrus Audio Mako Series ACS1 features a classic 3-band tone stack for bass, mid, and treble to precisely tune the timbre. In addition, the Room control offers the possibility to determine the size or the reverb of the simulated room and thus the playing feel. There's also a convenient boost to increase the volume of solo spots. Once found, sounds can also be stored in one of three preset memories, which are expanded to 128 when using MIDI.
