I first came across the APXT in an independent music shop in the UK. I was blown away by the sound and craftsmanship. Come Christmas my 5 year old son wanted a guitar. Instead of getting him the usual Classico style whose fingerboard scars always too big for little hands, I decided to get him the APXT. Now were both playing it at every opportunity.
First of all i was in love with this beautifull "toy" and i was long waiting to come in Europe so thanks musicstore that you bring it with a great offer. I love travel guitars, but most of them to be honest cant be compared with a full body guitar but still they are descent for having fun. But the "best travel guitars" are mostly only acoustic and usually some "special editions" too expensive. The apxt2 is the deal for me right now because its the newest travel guitar on the market, it does not feel cheap its easy to play with, you dont change tunning, and the most important for me its that has a descent preamp so you can plug it on your amp even through your electrics pedal. Yes it will have some feedback with some effects but you can easily find your sound (especially with accoustic effects) and noone will believe that is a travel accoustic guitar. I am performing live gigs as rhythm guitarist-singer in a trio, we play usually in small stages and it gives me a lot of space to move and people like it cause its a funny and unusuall part of the show. Yamaha suggests 12" strings. So to be honest its not the best guitar for bending etc. Finally if you want a small guitar for practice, taking on a travel or even live performance with descent sound at this low cost its the best.
Product is just what was expected, reliable and travel handy. Comparing with other similar traveler guitars it is a little challenging on a sound but it can be fixed by piezo pickup and amplified. Little Martin and baby Taylor are more expensive and without pickup, so only mikeing are optional for recording.Yamaha APX T2 was what I was looking for. I was also very pleased with your provided exellent service.

I purchased this guitar for my 9 year old and am impressed with the playing style and build quality - a fantastic guitar to start off with for younger people.
Great customer service too - thank you.
Bought for 16 year old daughter who has self taught herself during lock down. Is a beautiful looking instrument, very small (but she is petite, so perfect for her)but has a great sound. Better than some full size guitars I have had in the past. Would highly recommend this product
