If you need an ultra-compact audio interface for professional audio recording or streaming music, the Zoom AMS-22 is the perfect choice. It doesn't matter which DAW you have, whether you prefer to record guitars or vocals and which streamingplatform you want to use - the USB 2.0 interface offers the most important features in a small format.
Starting with the channels, you can benefit from two inputs that are suitable for microphones, guitars or stereo signals. The latter is a 3.5mm stereojack socket, while the combo socket provides a Hi-Z input for electric guitars/basses and 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. So that you can also monitor your signals, there is a headphone output right next to the inputs.
There is a Direct Monitor switch on the side so that you can pre-listen to and monitor your signals directly. The signal is simultaneously connected to your recording or streaming software. The Loopback feature can also be activated directly next to it. Here, the input signal is combined with the playback signal from the computer and fed to the streaming software used. This is a perfect way to add background music to your stream or to combine live vocals with a backing track.
