Unlike conventional nylon cases, the cases in the Pulse line are made of sturdy EVA (a molded polymer previously only used for high-end cases in consumer electronics ). This was for my shure mv7, with the intention of putting it in my luggage so I can travel with a small recording studio. The foam cutout wasnt quite large enough to fit the mic, but it's easy enough to cut a small bit out and now it fits safe and snug. Very happy.
