Thanks to its high-quality features consisting of solid tonewoods and sophisticated technology, the Cordoba Stage Edge Burst hybrid guitar is perfectly suited for use on stage. Thus, the flat instrument produces a powerful sound with the finesse of a true nylon string guitar. This is helped by the construction consisting of a spruce top with 3-piece fan bracing and a mahogany body with tone chambers, which combine to provide warm bass, assertive midrange and defined treble frequencies. Furthermore, the guitar inspires with a distinctly accommodating playability, which is realized with the help of the flat mahogany neck with 'C' profile. Thus, all 22 frets, which are set into a fingerboard made of Pau Ferro, can be easily operated and reached up to the highest positions thanks to the cutaway. Meanwhile, clean intonation is ensured by the saddle and the 48 mm wide nut made of bone. The headstock is equipped with gold-plated classical tuners that allow precise tuning of the 6 nylon strings. The heart of the Cordoba Stage is undoubtedly the dual pickup system, which picks up the sound of the strings via an under-saddle piezo pickup and body sensors. The active system is powered by a 9V block battery. Visually, the guitar is rounded out by the gauzy curly maple veneer, the grain of which is elegantly highlighted by the Edge Burst finish. The scope of delivery includes a sturdy case.
The Córdoba Stage (in my opinion) sounds just as good as it looks, and it looks f*ing amazing. If you're looking for a stage-ready nylon string which both sounds great and feels great to play, I haven't found a better option. The unique pickup system allows relatively quiet practice sessions, as well as loud resonant amplified playing. I have owned quite a few guitars in many styles and I can't imagine a better fit for me (personal opinion, so your milage may vary).
