Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro Koa: noble wood ceiling
The most striking feature of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro Koa is undoubtedly the massive ceiling made of precious Koa wood, which only occurs in Hawaii. Among them the Les Paul has the typical mahogany construction with a glued neck, which is the basis for the singing sound with long sustain. With the flat 1960s Slim Taper D profile, the neck also fits comfortably in the hand, so that every solo and riff can be easily handled between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard when playing electric guitar.
ProBucker Pickups for various sounds
The electric sound conversion of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro Koa is done by an Epiphone ProBucker-2 on the neck and an Epiphone ProBucker-3 on the bridge. Equipped with Alnico magnets and a moderate output, the pickups at the amplifier deliver a warm sound with singing mids and lively dynamics that is just as suitable for classic blues licks as for tight riffs. As a special feature, both humbuckers can also be split, so that authentic single coil sounds are also part of the repertoire of the Les Paul Custom Pro Koa.
Noble gold hardware with high functionality
A high-quality hardware equipment in the noble gold finish completes the elegant look of the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro. On the body the combination of LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece is placed, which support the resonant sound development of the electric guitar by the fixed locking on its bolt. Thanks to its extensive adjustment options, the bridge also guarantees perfect intonation and a string position that is easy to play. From there, the strings span the typical 24.75" scale (628 mm) before they hit the precise Grover Rotomatic tuners at the headstock.

Wow!! My hubby hasn’t put ‘her’ down since receiving it, I’m sure it’s because she sounds like a horny angel and he can’t help holding her curvy, smooth body. Luckily I love hearing him play so she’s in safe hands. Have to say, I’d love my own as it is awesome to play. Well worth the money.
