With the Discovery series,
The digital signal processor (DSP) contained in the Fame Audio Discovery 10A DSP makes it possible to adapt the sound to any situation. The processor offers various presets (Normal, Live, Club, Speech) and EQ settings. In addition to the DSP, the active speakers are characterized by 2 input channels (XLR/jack and RCA/AUX) and an XLR mix output. The integrated 35 mm flange, which can be tilted to 7.5", and the two M10 mounting points on the top of the enclosure are also practical.
With their powerful and precise bass, the active subwoofers form the perfect foundation for the DISCOVERY speakers. The crossover function integrated in the DSP makes combining tops and subs very easy. The DSP also offers practical presets for "Cardioid" and "Endfire" positioning for larger sound reinforcement systems.

The first input channel is equipped with an XLR/jack combination socket (6.35 mm), which allows the use of line signals as well as direct operation with a dynamic microphone. The second input channel is for wired use of e.g. smartphones, tablets, MP3 players or laptops via cinch or 3.5mm jack (Aux). The XLR mix output allows the sum signal to be played out to another speaker.

The high-quality plastic housing has a sturdy carrying handle and robust rubber feet as well as two integrated M10 mounting points on the top.
Active speakers that already have an integrated amplifier do not require any external cabling between the amplifier and speaker. In this configuration, the connection is already established and pre-installed internally. Users only need to connect a cable between the active speaker and the sound source, such as a mixer. A cable with XLR connectors on both ends or a 6.3 mm instrument cable (not a speaker cable) is often used for this purpose.
This distinction is essential for the correct installation and performance of a speaker system, and choosing the right type of cable will ensure optimum sound quality.
