TheFameCustom Handpan Bollywood C-Low Pygmy is a noble steel handpan in black and gold Bollywood finishwith appealing engraving and golden tone fields. It has twelve tones and produces a balanced and powerful tone in 440 Hz. The Fame handpan is played with the fingers by striking the differently tuned playing surfaces. The diameter of the handpan is 22" (55 cm), allowing it to be played comfortably on the lap. The C-Low Pygmy of the Fame Handpan comes with the following notes: C3//D#3/F3/G3/A#3/C4/D4/D#4/F4/G4//A#4/D5. The two notes D#3 and F3come as bottom notes, so they are located at thebottomof the handpan bowl. This allows for a creative way of playing. The meditative, soothing tone can be used for therapy purposes as well as meditation. A tache is included in the scope of delivery.
Custom Handpan from Fame in 440 Hz
The central keynote of the Handpan is in the middle, surrounded by a chorus of sound fields. The individual playing surfaces are under compressive stress, these are tuned in elaborate handwork in 440 Hz. If the sound surfaces are now briefly struck with the finger, the entire handpan is brought into vibration and a linear, spherical tone with singing sustain is created. This model has two additional bottom notes on the underside.

As with all Fame handpans, each handpan is checked for workmanship and sound quality before delivery and finally given our seal of quality. Since these are instruments with a high percentage of handwork, slight color deviations compared to the product image are possible.
The technique to play a handpan is comparatively simple to learn: The playing surface is struck briefly with the fingertip, the faster the hand is then pulled away, the more beautiful the resulting sound.
