These are decent tuners. They will certainly do the job well. For the extra money, I would get the locking tuners. They are of a higher quality and an all round superior product.

Well picture a black strat, with golden hardware. Its my guitar. So beatiful with these tuners.
Without screws on the back of the headstock, and very suitable for different types of holes. Its a little hard to fix them tight, mainly because i was afraid of damaging the guitar wood, but it gets easier once you figure out a way to cover the headstock.
In terms of sound, these tuners keep the guitar in tune much longer than the stock ones, so they really allow you to enjoy your playing.
I dont have a lot to say, this are fender original tuning pegs, a excelent quallity!!, you can use in your stratocaster, telecaster and probablly another models, chrome is the coolest color, but should have a nice price, we almost pay the brand not the product. but i recomend

Got these for a Telecaster build. They won't need to put up with the wammy bar abuse they'd had to take, if installed on one of my Strats, and stay in tune; so I got these non locking tuners.
Fender are back to the quality standards they enjoyed; pre CBS era. So when I order a neck for a Stratocaster build I have planned next, it will definitely be getting the locking version of these tuners.
