Two speakers in one

The Focal Twin 6 is a 2.5-way monitor that offers a high level of transparency, definition, dynamics and precision in the sound image. Thanks to the Focus mode, both woofers can be used as full-range speakers without tweeter, eliminating the need for a second pair of speakers. Thus, Focus mode allows you to stay in the sweet spot when assessing mixes, saves desk space, and simplifies cabling and monitor changes.

A more transparent and detailed sound

The Twin 6 features a beryllium tweeter with an M-shaped protective cover and two woofers with an extended frequency range up to 10kHz, designed specifically for Focus mode. In addition, the Twin 6 features Focal's patented TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology, which is integrated into the woofer design and offers up to 50% less distortion in the frequency range from 1kHz to 3kHz - a feature inherited from Focal's flagship Trio11 monitors.

Stable cabinet design

The cabinet design has a refined, modern look and uses a thick, sturdy material. The interior of the cabinet features reinforcing braces that dampen the monitor and make it stiffer, resulting in less vibration and therefore less distortion. This results in a more nuanced and detailed sound at output, making it even easier for the mixer to properly judge their work.

Ambient adjustment and stand-by mode

The Twin 6 features a variable high-pass filter and a parametric 160 Hz filter to attenuate console or table reflections. To save power, the automatic stand-by mode can be activated to put the speaker into an economical sleep mode during extended periods of non-use.
