Based on the classic mahogany construction with a glued neck, it offers the typical playing comfort that provides unhindered access to all layers of the rosewood fingerboard. As members of the large Burstbucker family, the Gibson 61R and Gibson 61T humbuckers deliver classic sounds with typical PAF genes that are perfect for singing blues licks or assertive rock riffs. In addition, the Gibson SG Standard 2018 offers a Tune-O-Matic bridge and a Stopbar tailpiece made of aluminum, as well as mechanisms in the form of Grover Locking Rotomatics.
