The Gretsch G2655 Streamliner CB Jr. DC Electric Guitar Flagstaff Sunset featuring a double cutaway laminated maple semi hollow body, reduced size centre block, Rosewood fingerboard, Broad’Tron humbuckers and a Flagstaff Sunset Finish.
The rosewood fingerboard offers players of all abilities a comfortable playing experience with an action that does not tire the fingers and maintains precise intonation over long periods of time.
The tone of this instrument is derived from a pair of Gretsch Broad’Tron humbuckers with each offering independent volume control of one another. These are known to deliver a rich warm tone perfectly capable of complimenting more elaborate fingerpicking techniques to bluesy leads and chugging riffs.
In the 50s, the 6189, 6190 and 6191 Streamliners descended directly from the early ‘50s Electromatic. Along with the lower-priced Clipper they were the primary models shoring up the bottom end of the Gretsch line.
Today, and new for 2016, this line of guitars puts Gretsch Quality and build into the hands of the more budget conscious.

Received the guitar about 4 days after ordering, well packaged so for it not to be damaged, which it wasn’t. Received the Carry case a few days later. Perfectly happy with the order and the guitar. It’s well manufactured and feels, looks and plays just great.
Gretsch's roots in brighter tones are clear here even though the guitar performs at its best with high gain. Perfect for punk rock/ alternative and a myriad of genres.
For under 500 bucks, a baby Gretsch Wonderful , all thats left is to learn to play it ! only had acoustic before.
Would certainly use dv247 again. In contact by email from time of ordering, delivery and packaging spot on. Extremely happy with product, arrived quickly and in pristine condition
It took me a month to get this due to Brexit delays but it was worth it, the guitar is beautifully built and sounds great. I never thought I would own a Gretsch but for this price its amazing. The only down side i would say on this guitar is the master volume , its either all or nothing , the volume doesn’t come in until its almost full on. Ill probably change that at a later date. The rest is perfect, all I had to do was tune it. It was set up quite low but can go lower if you want ,and the intonation was already perfect , so just plug it in and play it.
