For the classic singlecut design of the Electromatic Jet Baritone electric guitar, Gretsch relies on a classic mahogany body and a maple neck fastened by four screws. The extra-long scale length of 29.75" (756 mm) guarantees a fast-responding sound that accurately reproduces the low registers of the factory-set B tuning. The "Thin U" neck profile, which is not too strong, also promises comfortable playing characteristics up to the highest registers of the 22-fret Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Gretsch Mini Humbucker
As pickup for the Electromatic Jet Baritone guitar Gretsch chooses two in-house Mini Humbuckers. Placed in the neck and bridge positions, the classic pickups deliver full and juicy humbucker tones, while the design's narrower magnetic field produces vocal and articulate mids for leads that cut through the tape mix. Both pickups are here classically controlled via straight electronics with Master Volume and Master Tone controls as well as a 3-way toggle switch for pickup selection.
