The JPTR FX JIVE is a reel saturator effect pedal that delivers the distinctive overdrive of a tape deck whose preamps are overloaded with maximum force. Accordingly, depending on the position of the gain and volume controls, the pedal delivers either warm vintage overdrives with lively dynamics or massive old-school distortion with a distinctive Lo-Fi character. As a special feature, the JPTR FX JIVE offers three freely combinable clipping diodes of different design and origin, which influence the gain structure and sound character.
