The Laney Digbeth DB500H in the video:
Bass head with 500 Watt power, FET and TUBE Drive as well as flexible EQ
The Laney Digbeth DB500H is a powerful amplifier that provides the foundation for the perfect Bass sound with flexible tone options and a comprehensive feature set. FET and TUBE Drive channels cover the spectrum of classic and modern tones, which can be optimally adjusted using the flexible EQs. With 500 watts of power, the Digbeth DB500H also delivers brilliant volume reserves for stage and rehearsal room.
Flexible with FET and TUBE Drive
For extra sonic flexibility, Laney's Digbeth DB500H employs FET and TUBE Drive channels that promise traditional and modern sounds. The FET channel delivers particularly clear and distorted tones, while juicy rock grind is the metier of the TUBE Drive channel. Here you have the option to use both sound generators of the Bass top in alternation, or to mix them in order to maintain the pressure and definition in the low end even with the heaviest bass rip.
Extensive equalizer
For the optimal adjustment of the Bass sound, the Laney DB500H from the Digbeth series is equipped with extensive equalizers. The first of these is a classic 3-band equalizer, whose center control is equipped with four selectable pre-shape curves for the character-shaping frequency ranges. For the overall tuning of the sound, a tilt EQ is also on board, which optionally emphasizes the lower or higher frequency ranges.
Extensive equipment
In addition, the Laney Digbeth DB500H comes equipped with a comprehensive range of features that make it particularly convenient for use on stage and in the recording studio. For example, the serial effects loop with selectable level allows almost any external effects device to be integrated into the signal path, while the balanced XLR DI output with selectable tap point allows the Bass sound to be fed directly into mixing consoles or audio interfaces. The Bass head also features aux-in and headphone jacks, which are independent of the Digbeth DB500H's overall volume thanks to their own level controls.
