Lexicon Alpha Studio USB Audio InterfaceThis card is specially for guitarist. Good sound and performance. Microphone and instrument inputs are fine, but there is no phantom power, so you cant use condenser mics. For the money, its great deal. If you want to record guitar, or bass its awesome.
I have had this particular interface for 3 years and i have not the limbs to count the problems i have encountered. The drivers are horrid, not up to date and works poorly on windows 7. The Asio drivers are towards the useless range. The box produced a lot of noise even when in good condition. Gradually it failed more and more and now it produces a loud humm if just plugged in. The box has never produced particulary good sound. I would recommend looking for another brand alltogether
as a beginner who didnt know anything about this kind of equipment was it a good purchase and i would do it again. I work with fl studio 11 had any problems with driver installation and configuration. this audio interface deserve 4/5 for its price
Perfect for beginners. It doesnt have phantom power for condenser microphones but a great interface to replace your audio card from laptop and listen to music with better audio monitors or just record some stuff like guitars or voice with dynamic microphone
