The Line 6 HX One is the most compact representative of the Helix family and brings the sounds of the groundbreaking HX technology to any pedalboard, no matter how small. Armed with over 250 different effects from the HX series, the HX One is a particularly versatile effects pedal that is guaranteed to provide every guitarist and bassist with a wide range of possible sound options. For particularly lively sound effects, the ingenious multi-effect pedal also features the innovative Flux Controller, which controls the setting of several different effect parameters over a certain period of time at the touch of a button.
Authentic effects thanks to HX modeling technology
The proven HX modeling technology is used to breathe convincing authenticity into the integrated effect models of the HX One. This relies on so-called behavioral modeling to get as close as possible to the behavior of classic analog effects and all their tonal characteristics. For example, traditional germanium fuzz pedals or classic bucket brigade circuits of early analog delay effects can be reproduced with the HX One with astonishing fidelity in terms of response and sound behavior.
Simple operation & flux controller
The User interface of the HX One is clearly aimed at ease of use and achieving the desired sounds quickly and intuitively. The HX One features an easy-to-read OLED display and three endless controls that can be used to adjust the displayed parameters of the active effect or the fly and adapt them precisely to any application. In addition to its function as a tap switch, the right footswitch also acts as a flux controller. This can be assigned to any effect parameters and controls them at the touch of a button via minimum and maximum values set for each parameter.
Practical connections
Despite its particularly compact dimensions, the HX One has numerous connection options on board. The pedal's inputs and outputs are stereo to be compatible with a variety of different instruments and devices and to create true stereo spaces, while the 5-pin MIDI sockets on the side and the connection for expression pedals provide additional control options. A USB-C port for using the free Line 6 HX One Librarian software to easily edit and manage presets is also included.
