The Quad LFO from New Systems Instruments is an effective, quadruple modulation source with four independent, voltage-controllable LFOs. The LFOs can push and pull each other when patching an output to an input. Each of the four modulators optionally generates (via a jumper on the back) a sine or square waveform, can be modulated in speed with a CV, and has a cycle time of just over five minutes to 23 hertz. The manufacturer has paid special attention to the fact that the analogue LFOs have a straight course, which is achieved by temperature stabilization. In addition, it was possible to reproduce the sine waveform accurately and with little distortion.
