Ortega Guitars uses a combination of exotic and classical tone woods for the body of the Ortega RST5-3/4. Ortega uses classic mahogany with a rosewood fretboard for the Ortega RST5 neck. I brought this for my Stepson who is learning guitar and had the 3/4 size guitar he started with stolen from School. The guitar has a quality feel, with a low-action comfortable neck and great tuners. The sound is warm and balanced and suited to bossa nova. Hard to fault at this price point.
