The Spruce top also has a pearloid rosette, ivory white binding and Black gloss finish.
Other premium features include a natural satin finish Nato neck and Rosewood-veneer headstock, 20-fret bound Rosewood fretboard with pearloid microdot inlays and a Rosewood bridge. This guitar represents value for money approach. It is very comfortable to play, neck is really nice in feel, string action and sound is really nice. Im electric guitar player and had problem finding acoustic which will suit me. Thats my first ovation guitar but saying that Im aware its not last one. Electronics have basic controls plus tuner, the only thing i would say the jack input for cable is in awkward place, unlike most of guitars or even higher shelf ovation this one has it in different position on the back.
This guitar plays exactly as I had hoped - that is to say - very satisfactorily rather than brilliantly - so I am happy with the instrument because I understood beforehand it would be of mid-range quality.
Your pricing, however, is annoying. The Music Store page I accessed showed the guitar at €287.40. When I went to check it out I was also informed that it would cost €60 shipping. I was perfectly happy to pay the total of €347.40 because I was keen to get a guitar. I paid by PayPal and was suddenly charged €411.00. at the end of the transaction. This was an extra €63.60 or over 42% more than what I expected
When I queried this in an email your representative directed me to your Ireland page where, indeed, it is priced at €411 - based on the Irish vat rate. If I had known what I was eventually going to pay I believe I would have chosen another instrument. I have the guitar now and, as it does the job, I have no wish to change it. I think, perhaps, you should signal on your website that people from outside of Germany will have to pay costs above and beyond the instrument cost and transportation fees . I have bought musical instruments from other German websites, (e.g. Thomann) and their pricing systems are far clearer.
Thank you for your interest and for getting in touch
