Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite Black Fade Burst with elaborate construction
For the Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite Black Fade Burst, Schecter relies on an elaborate neck-thruogh construction and a first-class selection of wood. The heart of the electric guitar is accordingly the seven-piece neck made of maple, walnut and padouk, which is additionally reinforced by carbon inlays. Also glued to the neck are body wings made of swamp ash with a top made of curly maple. The extremely flat "Ultra Thin C" neck profile and the compound radius of the ebony fingerboard, which increases from 12" to 14", also ensure absolutely unimpeded playability.
Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups for versatile rock and metal sounds
The Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite Black Fade Burst is powered by a Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico humbucker on the neck and a Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic Humbucker on the bridge. Based on the innovative Fluence Core, each pickup has two strong voicings that blur the boundaries between active and passive humbuckers and provide versatile sounds for modern rock and metal. The pickups are managed by the volume and tone controls designed as push/pull potentiometers as well as a 3-way blade switch.
Floyd Rose Tremolo and Grover Tuner
The Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite Black Fade Burst also features high-quality hardware. Accordingly, a Floyd Rose 1500 Series Double Locking Tremolo is used as a bridge, with which even the sharpest dive bombs and most aggressive squeals can be realized without any detuning. In addition, Grover Rotomatic tuners with a transmission ratio of 18:1 work on the head plate.

Amazing Instrument and pickups. The guitar came with no flaws, low action & ready to play. The pickups are amazing if they had the coil splitting functionality we would have been talking about a very versatile instrument. This is an upgrade I will do in the future. The pickups are noiseless and it's highly recommended for studio recordings. Fret work and edges very smooth, ultra fast neck not as thin as an Ibanez Wizard but I prefer it. Woods are very good too and finish is flawless.
