The Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH V RMN Gunmetal Metallic combines the time-honored J-Bass design with modern appointments to create a daring electric bass whose extended range and variable tonal spectrum deliver the right groove for any style of music. In terms of construction, Squier relies on a poplar body in the cuddly Offset-Design and a bolt-on roasted maple neck with the usual comfortable "C" profile. At the bass amplifier two Squier SQR Ceramic humbuckers and the flexible active electronics provide powerful bass sounds of modern character. Last but not least, the Squier Contemporary Active Jazz Bass HH features indestructible Hardware in the form of a 5-saddle standard bridge and precise tuners.

For the construction of the Contemporary Active Jazz Bass V, Squier relies on the tried and true approach. Accordingly, the body is made of poplar, while roasted maple is used for the bolt-on neck and fretboard. Here, the sweeping Offset-Design in conjunction with the narrow C-neck profile and the 12" fretboard radius offer optimal conditions for a high level of playing comfort.
Ceramic humbucker and active electronics
The Contemporary Active Jazz Bass V's electrical tone conversion is handled by two Squier SQR Ceramic humbuckers with beautiful soapbar housings, whose modern hi-fi sound promises a punchy and balanced output of every groove. To further tune the sound, there is also an active 2-band tone control that provides precise boosts in bass and treble, and a traditional passive treble cutoff.
