Traditional acoustic guitar with solid mahogany top and highgloss finish
With the Yamaha FG 850 you can easily create a wide and warm sound that is extremely well suited for vocal accompaniment and expressive strumming. In addition to high-quality materials and excellent workmanship, the FG 850 impresses with its easy playability and its noble mahogany look. The instrument is rounded off with a high-gloss finish and fine inlay work.
Construction and woods
Thanks to a solidmahogany top with X-bracing, the individual notes unfold quickly and richly. Back and sides are made of laminated mahogany and color the sound with warm bass and midrange frequencies. For a comfortable grip of the 20 frets a flat nato neck is used, which is equipped with a rosewood fingerboard, which is perfectly adapted to the rosewood bridge mounted on the top.
Design and Hardware
Framed by a multi-ply binding of light mahogany the dreadnought acoustic guitar gets a very timeless optical touch, which gains additional shine by a multi-stripe soundhole rosette. To enable precise tuning the manufacturer uses chrome-plated die-cast tuners with a filigree inlay in their center. In addition, a saddle and a 43 mm wide saddle made of urea ensure a clean intonation on the entire scale length of 650 mm.
Warm tones thanks to a partially solid mahogany body

Yamaha extraordinary quality feelings and very nice sound of solid mahagony. The only point (which is quite usual) that the guitar needs a complete setup, polishing of frets, lowering the strings etc… now it is far better
