About Yamaha

The exciting history of Yamaha goes back to 1887. Torakusu Yamaha was commissioned to repair the American harmonium at Hamamatsu Primary School. This gave him the idea of building similar instruments. Two years later he founded the Torakusu Yamaha Company. In 1892, 78 harmonies were sold. The development of further musical instruments and product lines followed rapidly.

Musical Instruments and more by Yamaha

Yamaha manufactures high-quality products in many sectors: Precision machines, robots, measuring devices for medicine and industry as well as the motorcycle industry usually do not interest the musician. However, Yamaha instruments benefit enormously from the high quality standards that are naturally incorporated into the production of the musical instruments. Yamaha instruments are therefore often the ideal entry-level instruments, in high quality at moderate prices. Some milestones, like the Yamaha DX7 and the workstations of the Motif and Montage series are among the standards of the professional synthesizer sector and since the Yamaha 02R the Japanese manufacturer has been a leading player in the pro audio sector. For acoustic instruments, Yamaha sets the bar for acoustic guitars, drums and wind instruments as well as orchestral instruments for concert use are at home in the most extensive product range in the entire industry. At MUSIC STORE you can get all Yamaha instruments at reasonable prices and almost all - including the Vibraphone - we keep ready to test for you in our shop.
