With the ESP E-II Eclipse Full Thickness Vintage Honey Burst, the Tokyo-based guitar manufacturer introduces a single-cut electric guitar that offers an authentic vintage feeling in handling and sound due to the body thickness of classic Fifties models.
In addition to the strong mahogany body, ESP also relies on a stylish flamed maple top and a glued mahogany neck, while the set-thru construction with a smooth transition to the body and the Thin U neck profile guarantee a smooth playability up to the 22nd fret of the ebony fingerboard.
At the guitar amp, the E-II Eclipse Full Thickness electric guitar with a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker on the neck and a JB humbucker on the bridge delivers both warm vintage cleans and crunches as well as juicy high-gain distortion with assertive midrange emphasis. Transparent single-coil tones are also provided via the push-pull tone switch. The ESP E-II Eclipse Full Thickness Vintage Honey Burst is rounded off by a high-quality hardware setup with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and Gotoh locking tuners.
