Professional Fame handpan in matt bronze Finish in D minor
The Fame Handpan One D Minor is a hand-built steel handpanwith a bronze finish in the tuning D minor. It has nine notes and produces a balanced and powerful tone in 440 Hz. The Fame handpan is played by striking the differently tuned playing surfaces. The diameter of the Fame Handpan is 22" (54 cm), so it can be played comfortably on the lap. The D Minor tuning of the FameHandpan One comes with the following tones: D/A/B'/C/D/E/F/G/A. The meditative, calming tone can be used for therapeutic purposes as well as for meditation or street music. A padded backpack bag for the Fame Handpan is included in the scope of delivery.
B-goods can also be instruments that exhibit what is known as "crosstalk behavior". This means that playing a low tone on the pan (e.g. the thing in "D3") causes a harmonically corresponding high tone ("D4" or "A4") to resonate. This crosstalk has no effect on the overall tuning, which is also checked for these pans and therefore rated as clean.

The central keynote of handpans is in the middle, around which the chorus of sound fields is arranged in a circle. The individual playing surfaces are under pressure and are tuned to 440 Hz by hand. If the sound fields are now struck briefly by hand, the entire handpan is made to vibrate and a linear, clear tone with singing sustain is produced.
The technique of playing a handpan is comparatively simple to learn: the playing surface is struck briefly with the fingertip, the faster the hand is then pulled away, the more beautiful the resulting tone.
