Excellent value, good quality hard case. I had bought one once before and was so impressed by the quality and value for money that when I needed a case for a similarly sized bass guitar, it never crossed my mind to buy any other case. This case is slightly narrower than the GC-BC220s (which I'd bought before for my slightly wider bodied basses) and so the fit was a close one (it's rare that any hard case is ever a perfect fit, unless of course it's designed and it's interior moulded to accommodate a specific instrument).
I use this case with a Fender J bass, and it mostly fits well. It's a bit of a squeeze to get the body fully seated in place, which I suppose is good for security of the item! It also sits slightly ajar when not loaded, so sometimes the clips don't fully hold.
Other than that, it's really good for the price (compared to the official one for my bass!)
I bought this case to replace my very old and worn Fender case for my Fender Jazz Bass, for £50 its as good as, if not better than my original Fender case, really impressed with the build quality and also the Service, I have bought several items from DV247 and always been happy with the fuss free swift friendly service. Thanks.
This is a very good hard case for the price paid. It's slightly narrower than other similar cases which makes it a snugger fit for my bass. It's well made and affords good protection to the instrument contained when being transported.
