The Fame Pure Hybridual China 16" is a high-end hybrid cymbal made of B20 bronze, hand-hammered in Turkey. The Hybridual cymbals from Fame convince with fast response, complex sound and professional workmanship in all respects. The elaborate hybrid finish is perfected in a well-known Turkish manufactory in many steps. The inside of the cymbal remains unlathed (Raw) and the outer rim is finished with a Brilliant finish. In addition, the sound becomes even more multilayered due to the irregular hammer marks on the surface.
The sound of the Fame Hybridual series unfolds its full potential when played moderately. The flexibly arranged hammer marks create an irregular compression of the B20 base material, which shortens the sound, but at the same time also results in a broad, dry and full response. The slightly trashy and earthy cymbal sound of the Fame Hybridual series, offers ideal conditions for modern drumming at a high level. The fast response and the complex sound spectrum predestine the Hybridual cymbals for versatile use in the studio and on stage, as they are easily controllable at all times. B20 cymbals are the cymbals with the largest bronze content on the market. B20 a mixture of metals, that is, an alloy consisting of 80% copper and 20% tin. B20 drum cymbals are the supreme discipline of cymbal forging, a majority of professional cymbals are made of this very alloy. The forging process begins with a heated piece of metal, which is brought into its typical shape by rolling and hammering in addition, the top of the cymbal is usually punched in by machine. Now comes the most important part: the cymbal is painstakingly hammered by hand, giving it an individual pattern and profile. Each piece is a small unique specimen!
