The Gibson Murphy Lab 1960 Les Paul Standard Ultra Light Aaged Wide Tomato Burst #04360 is an authentic reissue of the electric guitar that marks the last year of the legendary Holy Grails, right down to the smallest detail. Accordingly, the electric guitar has the historically correct appointments and construction features for a first-class playing feel and lively sounds of Blues and rock. While the one-piece mahogany body features a chic flamed maple top, the set mahogany neck comes with long-neck tenon and a fretboard made of Indian rosewood. The historically correct "slim taper" profile guarantees extremely comfortable playing characteristics. The authentic PAF character of the sound is provided by Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico III magnets and a hand-wired circuit with oil-paper capacitors. Accordingly, all wood joints are made with hide-glue, which guarantees optimum sound development across the entire instrument thanks to its glass-hard consistency. While the one-piece mahogany body carries a chic curly maple top, the one-piece mahogany neck is glued with sustain-promoting long neck tenon. The slim, authentic "Slim Taper" neck profile also offers the best playing characteristics across the entire rosewood fingerboard.
