The Gretsch Catalina Club CT1-R444 is a high-quality set in a massive rock format, for club gigs or the rehearsal room. The Catalina Club CT1-R444 drums exude absolute vintage feeling without sacrificing modern features and above all contemporary sound. Equipped with Remo heads and the new Gretsch hardware, it develops a modern sound character with a sophisticated retro touch. The mahogany shells with 30° bearing edges sound warm and create a projection-rich sound with plenty of low bass and a round frequency mix. Gretsch renewed the color palette and offers new, extraordinary finishes for the Catalina Club series.

Classic sound with modern elements

The 7-layer mahogany shells from the Gretsch Catalina Club CT1-R444 with the typical 30° bearing edges sound wonderfully reflected and harmonious. The dark basic character of Gretsch mahogany shells is complemented by the matching overtones, resulting in a warm, deep sound, characterized by attack and dynamics. The triple flanged hoops on snare and toms guarantee the necessary tuning reliability and a defined tone.
