At first sight, it might seems a bit expensive. But it is worth the money, if you use all the features or just love good sounds. It is small and yet still powerfull. It is also built for recording with its XLR output and carbinet simulation, and 0w output. So no mic up is needed, and recording can in silence. It has tube diagnostic, which is also cool. Dispite of being able to downgrade to 1, 5 or 10 watts I find the full 20 watts the best sound. The power soak is pretty clever and almost keeps to great sound of 20 watt, when playing with the 1 watt setting. It is keep for winter, because it gets a bit hot. My 4/5 rating in Craftmanship is due, I had to return my first buy, because of a faulty power supply where the amp turned of after 0,5-1,5 hours of playing. H&K was very helpfull.
I play punk-pop music and this thing is incredible. The sound it produces is amazing.
The only flaws I have are the eqs don’t seem very responsive, but nothing that can’t be fixed with an additional eq pedal.
The amp does run very hot, temperatures meastried at around 40 degree centigrade on the metal chassis.
Build very good and I am In love with the Redbox emulation.
