Versatile Fuzz pedal with analog circuitry
With the KMA Audio Machines Fuzzly Bear 2, the creative effects company from Berlin's Karl-Marx-Allee sends the second Generation of its first mass-produced effects pedal into the race. While the carefully reworked analog circuitry delivers the rich as well as flexible Seventies fuzz of the original Fuzzly Bear, the compact metal housing with face-mounted jacks turns out to be especially Pedalboard friendly.
Multifaceted Fuzz sound
The analog circuitry of the Fuzzly Bear 2, built with silicon transistors, is based on a classic seventies design and promises particularly versatile timbres. The guitar pedal's Gain kn ob precisely adjusts the amount of distortion over a wide range, leaving nothing to be desired from gritty Overdrive to delightfully furry Fuzz. The Skin/Meat control also determines the BIAS of the circuit and thus the basic sound character. While Skin stands for a sharp and assertive sound character, Meat promises full dense and rich sounds.
