The Slice EQ from Kilohearts is a comprehensivesoftwareplugin for all common application areas. It not only scores with its clearuser interface and scalability, but also with a transparentsound, many bands, two toolbars and the possibility to work like click-and-drag as well as to use the respective controls in a classic way. The modern equalizer also offers an L+R and Mid/Side mode, a function for A/B comparison, the Undo/Redo feature and a mix control to control the overall intensity of the plug-in. In addition, there is the changeable resolution and oversampling, a presetbrowser for helpful starting points or the fast mix as well as practical details such as the real-time specification ofnote heights/frequencies while moving the mouse over the frequency spectrum.
