Tuner from Korg for synthesizers
The ST1K from Korg is a tuner for synthesizers whose circuit design has been optimized for the exact tuning of analogue and modular synthesizers. On the one hand, the ST1K processes the higher levels of Eurorack oscillators without any problems, on the other hand, the focus is on sound quality and passing the incoming signal through cleanly and unadulterated. The precise tuning of analogue synthesizers and especially oscillators in the modular system requires a great deal of sensitivity. Analog synthesizers, especially older instruments and even current devices and modules without temperature compensation are often prone to changes in pitch due to temperature fluctuations in the circuitry. A tuner is also a great help when an exact note interval needs to be set. The ST1K offers three different 3D display modes and also visually allows for easy and quick handling when detecting the smallest deviations in combination with the super-precise tuning accuracy of +/- 0.1 cents. Thanks to the internal microphone, the ST1K also works without an audio cable and can therefore do its job on the loudspeaker of a synthesizer or when tuning Bass or guitar.
