Fixed construction for unique playing feel

The Meinl rosewood castanets in traditional design offer full and cutting sounds. For a precise and simple operation, two of these great sounding instruments have been attached to a wooden board. With this construction, the castanets can simply be played on a table. Furthermore, the castanets can be individually adjusted in terms of response and position with help of a small wheel on the board.

Complex beats and patterns

Thanks to the unique construction of the Castanet Machine, it is much easier to perform complex beats and patterns than with the common method. The fixed positioning allows more comfortable playing and the resonant wooden board provides a fuller and more cutting sound.
