Miditech USB MIDI Host is a MIDI converter that can convert an incoming USB MIDI signal into a standard MIDI signal without delay. This is done by connecting a master keyboard, trigger pad, USB controller or any other MIDI device that has only one MIDI USB port on the front panel of the Miditech USB MIDI Host without installation and supplying it with power. On the back of the device there are the standard MIDI sockets (MIDI In and MIDI Out) and the Mini USB connector for power supply. A standard 5V USB power supply can be used (not included).

Miditech USB MIDI HOSTA solidly built unit, suitable for gigging or studio, and worked flawlessly out of the box with multiple setups of MIDI devices and synths etc. This can be run from a powerpack or AC-DC adapter (4.5V USB type), so can be used even without a mains connection, reducing cable-count to trip over. A bridge between USB MIDI devices and DIN MIDI that has applications for almost any musician needing to hook up a USB MIDI device to e.g. a groovebox.
This product comes with a 2-pin USB to Mains adapter for the power socket, which is a little inconvenient for UK users -who will require a 2-to-3 pin mains plug adapter so that it will function.
That said, the MIDITECH USB MIDI HOST functions exactly as needed, with a green LED to show that the connection to the USB port from the external equipment signal is working.
