Integrated music production tool

As a hardware and software combination, the Maschine MK3 combines the best of both worlds: Intuitive handling via DAW controller plus comprehensive and powerful software production tool. In addition to samplers and effects, the software includes a sophisticated pattern and arranger system that supports beat-oriented music production as well as live performance. The extensive mixer, integrated effects for mixing and sound design as well as the integration of VST plug-ins leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled. Likewise, the controller is compatible with all common DAWs and can be integrated as a plug-in.

8 GB sound library included

With Maschine MK3 you can get started right away and produce music with official sounds. The 8 GB Maschine sound library contains lots of professional sound material in the form of one-shot samples, drum sounds, drones & pads, instrumental riffs, sliced loops and sample instruments. Drumsets and patterns are grouped together as ready-to-play groups. You can find acoustic drums as well as a collection of the iconic drum machines of the 80s. Last but not least, one should mention the five drum synthesizers that can create physical modeling sounds, but also classic analog drum machine sounds very dynamically.

Komplete 13 Select with lots of sounds, instruments & effects

In addition to the Maschine sound library, Komplete 13 Select is a massive software bundle with tons of sounds, sampling libraries, effect plug-ins and popular software instruments from Native Instruments: Massive, Monark virtual synthesizers, The Gentleman sampling piano, Drumlab, Reaktor Prism, as well as Scarbee Mark I sampling electric piano, Retro Machines and Vintage Organs. Together with the Maschine library, you get a comprehensive setup for modern music production - which can of course be expanded with the large Komplete library. Maschine MK3 offers full Komplete 13 integration including Native Kontrol Standard (NKS).

Audio Interface (96 kHz/24-bit)

Native Instruments thus fulfills a wish expressed by many Maschine users: An integrated audio interface offers two audio outputs and two line inputs as well as a microphone input. The latter does not have phantom power and is therefore designed for connecting dynamic microphones. The interface has been greatly improved compared to the predecessor and supports audio formats up to 96 kHz/24 bit.

More operating convenience thanks to RGB color displays

Like the larger Maschine Studio model, Maschine MK3 also features two large high-resolution RGB color displays. From browser-based work with the sound library, the arbitrary combination of effects, sounds and plug-ins as well as mixing and precise sample and pattern editing, the large RGB displays make working very comfortable and intuitive. An improvement that Maschine MK2 users will immediately feel in their workflow.

Groovebox with many possibilities

With its 16 pads, the Maschine MK3 is based on the layout of the Akai MPC and also offers features of classic grooveboxes such as swing, note repeat, step sequencer. In important details, the DAW controller is even more modernly equipped, as the velocity-sensitive pads are touch-sensitive and react sensitively to even the smallest nuances. The same applies to the eight endless knobs below the RGB color displays, which can be used to retrieve the current values of plug-ins by simply tapping them. Based on the controllers of Native Instruments' Kontrol master keyboards, Maschine MK3 is also equipped with a Smart Strip. This is a flexible touch controller that can be used, for example, for note strumming, dynamic effect control, but also for classic pitch bending.
