I use it to play my electronic drums. The sound is very good, with a very realistic balance of all frequencies. It is very comfortable to use during many hours of study. However, it is annoying that the mechanical connection between the ear pads and the piece that goes over your head is done through a 3 or 4 mm tiny spindle that broke the first time it fell on the floor and rendered these headphones useless. Definitely not a good choice if this is likely to happen in your studio or rehearsal room.
