Since its publication in 1950, Lothar Lechner's blue "Christmas Book" has been one of the best-known Christmas albums for piano. Besides the beautiful old songs, My Christmas Book also contains newer songs from the international repertoire, such as Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells or We wish you a Merry Christmas.
The proven structure of the booklet has been retained, i.e. most songs are offered in 3 arrangements, so that the greatest possible flexibility for teaching and Christmas music-making at home exists:
for the beginner, very light, both hands in treble clef
for the advanced, easy, notation of the hands in the violin and bass clef
for piano for 4 hands, very easy to easily playable.
