A loving homage to the now 50+ year old classic compressor, the Universal Audio 1176 Studio Compressor offers classic sonic qualities of the highly sought-after original immortalized on numerous legendary recordings. Using the three iconic Attack, Release and Ratiocontrols, the 1176 offers an incredibly wide range of operation, from light dynamic adjustments to percussive slaps to juicy squash sounds. Via Type Switch, a single 1176 is optionally available as a single, while two units connected in parallel can be used in dual mode and sustain mode. On the front side, the pedal also offers two slide switches: The bypass switch allows you to choose between true or buffered bypass, while the parallel switch allows you to mix the dry and compressed signals with each other.
